The 2nd annual celebration was held at Virginia Tech marking the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In keeping with the success of the first celebration, we continued to expand activities recognizing the King holiday university-wide and into the larger community. Under the leadership from the Office of Multicultural Affairs, and the Commission on Equal Opportunity and Diversity, a number of university and community groups came together to help make this celebration happen.

All events were FREE and were open to the public. For more information about the celebration, please contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs at 540-231-1820.
